VanderSpuy Cape town currently has a Level 2 BEE rating (Empowerdex) with a committed aspiration to attain Level 1 status in the near future.
With regard to Corporate social Investment, VanderSpuy has implemented an integrated approach with education as its main focus. Apart from providing financial support to previously disadvantaged staff members to facilitate further education, VanderSpuy has also implemented a bursary programme. The bursary is for the study of Law and has a value in excess of R80,000.
Other CSI initiatives include contributions in the areas of sport and community activities. Among the list of these beneficiaries are Primrose RFC and the SA Netball team who, with the assistance of Vanderspuy were able to compete in the recent World Championships held in Beijing. |
